The Trek Slash+ 9.7 SLX/XT is an electric enduro mountain bike for riders who want to push their limits – not their legs. With a sleek TQ HPR50 motor tucked into its carbon frame, it provides light pedal-assist to help you climb smoother and ride longer, while preserving that natural trail feel. The 50Nm of torque from the TQ system is subtle but effective, offering extra support just when you need it, without the weight or noise of a traditional e-MTB.
The OCLV Mountain Carbon frame is built tough and light, and the high-pivot suspension layout on the Slash+ means you get unbeatable traction and bump-eating confidence on rocky descents. The 4-bar setup includes 170 mm travel at both ends – controlled by a Fox Rhythm 38 fork and a Fox Performance Float X rear shock – giving you enough squish to stay composed when things get rowdy.
Shimano’s XT/SLX 12-speed drivetrain offers crisp, dependable shifting with a wide range for steep climbs and fast chases. Hydraulic 4-piston brakes keep things firmly under control on technical trails and loose descents. A mixed wheel setup – 29" up front for rollover and 27.5" at the rear for agile handling – gives you a ride that’s both stable and responsive.
The integrated TQ 580Wh battery keeps the bike’s silhouette clean, and you can extend the range even further with an optional range extender (sold separately). The compact top tube display keeps things discreet, with all your ride info visible at a glance, and pairs with the Trek Central app to tune motor settings, track performance and plan routes.
With a Bontrager Line dropper post, tubeless-ready wheels and chunky Bontrager XR5 tyres, the Slash+ 9.7 SLX/XT comes ride-ready right out of the box. It’s the perfect match for aggressive riders who want the benefits of full suspension and light e-assist, without losing the ride feel of a traditional enduro rig.
