The Madone SL 7 Gen 8 uses Trek’s 500 Series OCLV Carbon, shaped with Full System Foil tube profiles to reduce drag without sacrificing ride quality. The geometry balances efficiency and control, making it equally at home on long climbs, rolling roads and fast descents.
IsoFlow technology decouples the seat tube from the top tube, allowing controlled flex that smooths road buzz while keeping power transfer direct. The aero carbon seatpost works with the frame to maintain comfort over long distances without dulling the bike’s sharp feel.
Shimano Ultegra Di2 provides precise, reliable electronic shifting with a wide 50/34 chainset and 11–34 cassette. Shifts are quick and consistent under load, helping you stay in rhythm whether you’re climbing or pushing the pace on the flat.
Rolling duties are handled by Bontrager Aeolus Pro 51 carbon wheels. Their depth offers aerodynamic efficiency while remaining stable in mixed conditions, paired with 28mm Bontrager R3 tyres for a good balance of speed and comfort.
A full carbon front end, with Bontrager Aero Pro bars and Trek RCS Pro stem, keeps weight down and cable routing clean. The result is a road bike that feels fast, composed and ready for big rides, without demanding race-only compromises.
