Genie Suspension: Unrivalled Control

The Genie dual-air suspension system delivers unmatched traction and control. By utilizing two interconnected air chambers, it provides a flatter spring curve for the first 70% of travel, ensuring sensitivity and grip. The final 30% firms up to prevent harsh bottom-outs, absorbing big hits effortlessly. Compared to previous models, Genie-equipped Levo 4 bikes offer 11% more usable travel and require 5.7% more force to reach full compression.

Specialized Levo 4 Review

The Turbo Levo 4 Expert Carbon is built to take your trail riding further, powered by Specialized’s latest 3.1 motor system. With 666W peak power and 101Nm of torque, it delivers consistent support across a wide cadence range — so whether you're spinning or powering through technical climbs, the motor adapts seamlessly. Its natural-feeling response makes every pedal stroke count, offering control you can trust on loose, steep, or sketchy terrain.

At the heart of the bike is a FACT 11m carbon frame with 150mm rear travel, equipped with SWAT storage for carrying tools or spares. The adjustable geometry lets you fine-tune your setup to match the trail or your riding style.

Suspension is handled by FOX’s Performance Elite series front and rear, with a 160mm FOX 38 fork up front and the FOX FLOAT X shock at the rear. The rear shock features GENIE technology – a dual air system that improves small bump response through most of the stroke and ramps up progressively at the end to handle big hits without harsh bottom-outs.

The drivetrain is SRAM’s latest GX Eagle Transmission, a 12-speed wireless setup that shifts crisply under load. Stopping power is supplied by SRAM Maven Silver brakes with large 220mm/200mm rotors, keeping you in control even on steep descents.

The mixed wheel setup — 29” front and 27.5” rear — helps balance speed and agility, with Butcher GRID GRAVITY casing tyres providing dependable grip and durability. A PNW Loam dropper post and Bridge Comp saddle complete the build.

The MasterMind TCU display is integrated neatly into the top tube, with a high-res screen that shows all your ride data and connects to the Specialized app for tuning. It even includes Apple Find My integration for added peace of mind.

The Levo 4 Expert Carbon is for riders who want precise handling, usable power, and well-tuned suspension — all working together to create an electric trail bike that feels like a natural extension of you.
