The latest generation delivers fundamental changes that further improve its aerodynamics, reduce its weight and offer tyre clearance up to 32 mm, all while maintaining the comfort and control the Reacto is known for.

The ultimate all-rounder in Merida's Reacto range, the 10K offers the most balanced package in terms of overall aerodynamic performance and weight, tipping the scales at just 7.2 kg. With a wind tunnel reading of just 202 watts to maintain 45Km/h the 10K was optimised for head and cross wind aerodynamic performance making it perfectly suited for whatever a modern aero bike has to deal with on the open road.

Traditionally, there was a clear divide between aero and classic road bikes: the former focused on air-slicing capabilities, while the latter concentrated on weight and comfort. Fast forward to the REACTO V: not only have Merida been able to push it below the magical 200-watt barrier, but they have also reduced its weight further, making it possible to get the complete bike close to, if not below, the UCI weight limit of 6.8 kg. In terms of comfort, the REACTO's ability to accommodate up to 32 mm wide tyres, coupled with the lateral compliance properties of the S-Flex seat post, provides a ride quality comparable to that of a classic, thin-tubed road bike. In summary, the REACTO V, with its outstanding aerodynamics and ability to reach the UCI weight limit, delivers higher performance, greater speed and a more efficient ride than a classic road bike, which often focuses solely on weight.
