The Stinson E brings the comfort-first approach of Marin’s popular leisure bikes into the e-bike world. Built around a Series 1 aluminium comfort frame, it offers exceptionally low standover height for easy mounting and dismounting. The geometry is designed to keep you upright and relaxed, perfect for unhurried rides or getting around town without strain. Practical additions, including rack and mudguard mounts and an integrated kickstand plate, make everyday use simple and flexible.
Power comes from a compact Bafang rear-hub motor delivering 40Nm of smooth, predictable assistance. Five support levels allow you to tailor the effort to your ride, from gentle boosts on the flat to more help on short steeper rises. The handlebar-mounted controller doubles as an LCD display for easy access to speed, battery status and assist level. The system also supports the Bafang Go app for ride data, navigation tips and health metrics, adding even more functionality. Hidden neatly inside the downtube, the 340Wh battery keeps the bike tidy and well-balanced, with an accessible charging port protected from the elements.
An 8-speed Shimano drivetrain keeps gearing simple and reliable, ideal for everyday routes. Stopping power comes from Tektro mechanical disc brakes, giving consistent control in mixed weather. The high-volume Vee Speedster 27.5” tyres bring comfort and confidence, with a smooth tread for efficiency and plenty of grip on varied surfaces.
Finished with a supportive Marin Comfort saddle, swept-back bars and ergonomic hand positions, the Stinson E is designed so every ride feels easy from the first pedal stroke. Whether you’re returning to cycling, replacing short car trips or just want a calmer way to get around, the Stinson E helps you enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
