I initially ordered a Boardman HYB Ebike from Halfords a few years ago but had nothing but problems with the trash FAZUA motor used in the bike. I ended up returning that bike and cancelling the C2W. Fast forward a few years and I decided to give c2w another shot. I was set on picking what I knew was a good motor in the Bosch system. This Haibike ticked all the boxes with the Bosch Smart system and the 75nm torque motor included. I discussed c2w with tredz and I must say they have been so helpful throughout. They even agreed to price match another competitor so I got the bike £100 cheaper. Delivery was fairly quick in about four days from Cardiff. All I had to do was fit the foot pedals and adjust the handlebars. The bike was already registered by tredz for the warranty, so all that was left to do upon building the bike was to fit accessories and charge the battery. I must say the bike is a real joy to use. It’s so powerful to get going and the Bosch smart system is fantastic. I am a little concerned about the Bosch connect module (gps tracker), as it’s my understanding that it should be compatible for me to install it however I am currently in discussion with tredz to confirm this as it’s not 100% certain to support it. I use this bike to commute to work, roughly 5 miles there and 5 miles back. I use the auto setting in the Bosch flow app, and 5 miles costs me roughly 15% battery. So I’m looking at around 30-35 miles on a full charge. No major complaints about the bike in general use, gear changes are smooth, the bike looks nice and suspension is nice and smooth. Only concern I’ve noticed so far is when pedalling after the 15. 6mph assistance limit, the bike seems to make a grinding sound or similar and there seems to be resistance to me pedalling? Also I’ve noticed the Bosch system seems to keep providing assistance over the 15mph limit, again this seems strange as it shouldn’t be happening. Neither are deal breakers, just slight annoyances I’ve noticed. If you are looking for a decent ebike with good range and build quality, for commuting and off roading, this haibike all track 4 is definitely worth a look.
